Fresh Creek School

Hi! My name is Yvette Vargas and I am the Community School Director at The Fresh Creek School. I am very excited to be entering my third school year in this role and with our awesome school community! As a CSD, I work closely with the administration team and the Parent Coordinator to support Fresh Creek families and bring in community resources that will benefit our school. I also work with the City Year team, who focus their academic support on 3rd-5th grades but support the whole school in various ways, including attendance.  This year, I am excited to come up with fun engaging events that we can host on a virtual platform. Though I grew up in Northern California, I am a Pittsburgh sports fan!
